For the sinners

Last month I shot the brilliant musician that is Sin D’rella. She wears beautiful venetian masks and was once booed off stage in the US by a mob of angry southern hicks for re-arranging America The Beautiful into an anti-capitalist hymn. She is daring yet sensitive, beautiful and mysterious… more to come SOON!

Listen to Sin… click HERE!

In the studio today:

Eugene Ankomah is a brilliant young mind, a young gentleman, an artists and a thinker. I find his works organised and intelligent yet chaotic at the same time and much of his creative drive is instinctive and spontaneous. I absolutely love his work and I urge you to check out his web page to delve into the mind of one of London’s most ingenious dream-weavers:  www.myspace.com/eugeneankomah

Earlier this month I was paid a visit by an old friend from France. Lou-Lou is a budding actress and director. She wanted new images to feature on her website and asked me to help. Without further ado I present Lou-Lou…

Here’s a selection of images that you won’t find in the gallery, from a shoot on a building top where they have underground carriages used as offices. Really cool place!

A managed to get hold of an old slide projector recently to experiment with light and colours. I couldn’t find any slides right away so the first test shoot involved the projector bulb, which was providing the only source of light and one model. Results below and more to follow once I get hold of some slides… ebay! :)

The last image is of the same model on the same day but using the studio lights instead. Ok so there’s a massive difference, especially in terms of clarity and focus but we are talking about two very different environments… work in progress, I’ll show you what happens when you introduce colour slides into the equation… ebay!!!
